Hey Everyone — It's Monday [March 30, 2020], and for those of you that don't know, it's the only day of the week that Firefly's is currently closed.  I just wanted to reach out to make sure that everyone is safe and everyone is healthy and everyone is doing their part in social distancing.

We've had an amazing response, this past two weeks at Firefly's — Takeout has been incredible — more than we could have ever imagined.  I want to let everyone know that we've learned something new every single day and we're looking to improve your Firefly's Takeout experience to make it even better, all the time. We're increasing the phones, we're increasing the contactless payment registers, we're increasing the service staff, the delivery drivers... We have a bunch of our team employed and we can attribute that to each and every one of you. We're going to continue to bring more or our employees back every day. You're going to see a big improvement in the parking lot design, this week, we're going to have some numbers in place and we're going to make sure that your Firefly's Takeout experience is seamless and easy and everyone can be safe picking up their food and enjoy the quality that you've come to know over the past 20 years.

I can't thank you enough... May all of your families be healthy and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you soon.  Thank you all and God bless!

New Hours

First and foremost, the entire Firefly’s family wants to thank you for your overwhelming support over the past week. You’ve kept us extremely busy with curbside pickup and delivery.


We plan to keep bringing you all your Firefly’s favorites, along with special value offerings like our new Family Meal Deal, for as long as the dine-in limitations remain in place. We’ve increased our phone capacity and the number of our delivery drivers to help meet the demand.


After learning your preferences for curbside pickup and delivery hours, to make sure our staff stays healthy, and to make time for a day of extra deep cleaning, we’ve decided to adjust our hours. 


We’ve never been open for lunch on Fridays, and we were pleased to learn that you want Firefly’s for lunch on Fridays. So we’ll have to keep that in mind when things get back to normal!


Again, many thanks for your support. We feel truly blessed to have such a loyal following.

We are using our own staff to make deliveries, so you can rest assured that all of Firefly's rigorous safety protocols will be followed by your delivery person.  

Starting Tuesday, March 17th, all Massachusetts in-house dining will be curtailed until further notice.  However...



So you can continue to enjoy our award-winning barbecue and authentic Southern fare at home.

The world is facing an unprecedented challenge. I want you to know that Firefly’s BBQ and the restaurant community are pulling together to take every step possible to protect the health, safety and well-being of all of our guests and employees. 


Here at Firefly’s, we always do our utmost to be a place where you can feel well taken care of. While we are closely monitoring the situation, we want you to know that we will remain open so that you can continue to enjoy our award-winning barbecue and authentic Southern fare.


  • We hold our hygiene standards to the highest level, and at this time we are going above and beyond the recommended guidelines, adhering to the strictest cleaning and sanitation protocols.


  • We are offering convenient curbside pickup and free delivery (within a 5-mile radius) for takeout orders and all of our catering services are still available. 


As I’m sure you know, the restaurant industry and all businesses are challenged through this crisis, and we very much appreciate your faith in us and your ongoing support.
